Isabell (Garlock) Brown

East Greenbush - Isabell Garlock Brown, 90, of Community Way died Friday, August 4, 2017, at her residence after a brief  illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Toronto, Canada, she was daughter of the late Thomas Garlock and Helena Mead Garlock and wife for 59 years of the late William H. Brown, who died in 2012. She was raised in Toronto and resided in Buffalo, Delmar and in Stuyvesant for 40 years prior to moving to East Greenbush 3 years ago.  She was a graduate of the University of Toronto for her degree in Pharmacy. 

Mrs. Brown was a Registered Pharmacist and for many years a homemaker.

She enjoyed gardening, golfing, cooking, bridge and watching Turner Classic Movies.  

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia (William) Jackson, Chagrin Falls, OH and Barbara (Albert) Utter, Otego, NY; her grandchildren, William (Katie) Carson, Saratoga Springs, Ashley (Kyle) Duckett, Cape Coral, FL and Alexa Jackson, Chagrin Falls, OH; a great grandchild, Jace Duckett; a sister, Anne Silverman, Toronto and several nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 9:30-10:15 AM. 

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church 475 Pawling Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Interment will be Friday at Mount Olivet Cemetery Buffalo.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Isabell Brown to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
