Irmgard S. Feldmann, 92

Wynantskill - Irmgard S. Feldmann, 92, went to her eternal rest on Friday, August 12, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in , Switzerland, she was daughter of the late Herman B. Feldmann and Hulda Aemisegger Feldmann. Miss Feldman came to the United States with her parents as a child in 1925 and lived in New Jersey for many years prior to moving to Valley Falls where she lived for 3 decades and currently resided in Wynantskill for more than 36 years. She attended school in New Jersey, the New York Conservatory of Music and later in Tomhannock and Valley Falls.

Mr. Feldmann was a self employed seamstress. With her parents, she produced strawberries and raspberries on a commercial scale and took part in poultry farming in Valley Falls which her parents owned and operated.

She was a proficient violinist, and loved gardening, nature and cooking.

Survivors include a cousin, M. Gabrielle Vogt, Switzerland; a neighbor, Rose Church, Wynantskill and her beloved cat, Judy.

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
