Irene Tymula Motilage, 87

West Sand Lake - Irene Tymula Motilage, 87, of Route 150 West Sand Lake entered eternal rest Monday, June 15, 2009, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a brief illness.

Born in Colonie, she was daughter of the late Francis Tymula and Mary Surma Tymula and the beloved wife for 50 years of Bernard A. Motilage. She was raised in Colonie, had resided in West Sand Lake since 1959 and attended Colonie Schools.

Mrs. Motilage was a homemaker and many years ago, worked in the electron tube department of General Electric for 19 years.

She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a cherished daughter, Bernice I. (Kevin) Leyden of Glenmont; a beloved son, Raymond (Darlene) Tymula of Colonie; three beloved grandchildren, Katherine and Kara Leyden and Todd (Mercedes) Tymula; a great granddaughter, Danielle Tymula; a sister, Sophie A. Tymula of Colonie and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Tymula and two sisters, Helen Tymula and Mary C. Tomczak.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake and at 9:30 AM at St. Henry's Church Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery Colonie.
