Ilean M. (Pollay) Lovering

Troy - Ilean M. Pollay Lovering, 86, of O’Neil Street died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Eddy Village Green Cohoes after a brief illness.

Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Charles Pollay Sr. and Edith McClain Pollay and wife for 65    years of Rolland Frederick ‘Jack’ Lovering Jr. She was raised in Pleasantdale, resided many years in Troy and attended Lansingburgh Schools. 

Mrs. Lovering was a homemaker and many years ago worked for Wagers Ice Cream. 

She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Troy.    

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, William Dean Lovering, Santa Paula, CA; two daughters, Kathleen Ann (Charles) Simmons, Johnstown and Donna Jean (Paul) Pignatelli, Troy; her grandchildren, April Lynn Hallcom, Chelsa Marie Lovering, Scott Paul, Kevin Michael and Lisa Marie Pignatelli, Darcy Ann Simmons, Diane Marie (Matthew) Willson and Stephanie Ann (Douglas) Krantz; her great grandchildren, Addison Saige and Hudson Graham Hallcom, Chloe Rhyan and Olivia Grace Willson and Kaya Osita and Myella Skye Krantz; a brother, William (Winifred) Pollay, CA; two sisters, Margaret (James) Little, Latham and Jean Pollay, Albany and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles Joseph Pollay, Helena Mitchell, Carl, Edward and Joseph Pollay, Louise Pawlows, Lucy Pollay and Ruth Thorsland.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. John McAuley, officiating.

Interment will be in  Memory Gardens Colonie.
