Henry A. 'Hank' Stanley , 61

Poestenkill Henry A. 'Hank' Stanley , 61 ,of Falling Waters Farm, Route 351, Poestenkill, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a long battle with heart disease.

Born in Albany, he was the son of Marion (Gilchrist) Stanley of Poestenkill and the late Henry Stanley.

He had resided in Averill Park and Poestenkill for most of his life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Hank was the owner and operator of Track and Turf Supply in Poestenkill for the past 25 years.

Hank spent his entire life involved in the horse world. He owned and rode open jumpers. His dedication to the equine world provided many years of service and mentoring to area equestrians and their mounts.

He was a member of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Victoria Stanley Lachaga and husband Philip of Ringoes, NJ; his niece and Goddaughter, Kristina Lachaga and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake with Rev. Robert Zitel, Pastor of Church of the Covenant in Averill Park, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Interment Evergreen Cemetery, in Wynantskill.
