Helen (Marsolais) Murray

Troy - Helen Marsolais Murray, 81, formerly of Colleen Road died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Eddy Village Green Cohoes after a long illness.

Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late George Marsolais and Laura Borter Marsolais and wife of the late Donald C. Murray. She was raised in Green Island and resided in Troy most of her life and was a graduate of Green Island Schools.

Mrs. Murray was a homemaker and later worked at Fairchild in Latham for several years.

She was a devoted wife, and mother to her seven children. Her family was her universe. 

Survivors include her children, Nancy (John) Burton, Dalton, MA, Don E. (Candace) Murray, Cumberland, RI, Janice (Mike) Urzan, North Greenbush, Robert P. (Barb) Murray, Clifton Park, Patricia (Steve) Gundrum, Latham, Tamara (Tim) Gerardi, Loudonville and  Kevin M. (Tricia) Murray, Clifton Park; her grandchildren, Candice (Kyle) Fillion, Kristin (Sean) Tobin, Christopher (Jennifer) and Laura Burton, Shawn (Marissa), Patrick and Eric Murray, Ryan and Adam Murray, Steven Gundrum, Nicole (Stephen) Conroy, Caitlyn and Emily Gerardi and Ian, Connor, Kiera and Megan Murray; her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brayden and Ava Fillion, Avery Conroy and Everett and Madison Burton; a sister, Dawn Marsolais (William) Temple and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, George and Raymond Marsolais, Constance Gaida, Sandra Bell and Shirley Vesga.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Robinson, officiating.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
