Hazen B. Goodall, 87

Wynantskill - Hazen B. Goodall, 87, of Franklin Avenue died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Houltan, ME, he was son of the late Fredrick Goodall and Rosa West Goodall and husband for 55 years of Mary T. Cervasio Goodall. He resided Green Island until 1970, when he moved to Wynantskill where he has lived for the past 40 years.

Hazen was employed by the Sanitary Department for the Village Green Island Department of Public Works for 28 years.

He was a member of the Green Island Italian Club where he played Boche and a member of the Seniors of Green Island, Troy, and Schodack. Hazen loved bowling, bingo, music, singing, gardening, walking, and the outdoors.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his 2 daughters, Maureen (Alan) Zipkin of Averill Park and Tina M. Clay of Valdosta, GA; 5 grandchildren, Steven Gryboski, Ashley Fink, Zachary Zipkin, Kirstina Clay,and Corey Brooks; 2 great grandchildren Angelina Gryboski and Maureene Fink; and his nieces and nephews Jean Koon, Pat Alan, Liz Blest, and Dale and John Goodall,. He was predeceased by his siblings.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route150 West Sand Lake on Monday from 4 - 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Church 175 Williams Road Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Hazen B. Goodall to the Parkinson Disease and Movement Foundation 215 Washington Avenue Extension Albany, NY 12203.
