Harry Kabalian

Colonie Harry Kabalian, of Kabalian Drive, died suddenly Saturday at St. Peter's Hospital Albany.

Born in Schenectady, he was son of the late Armenag and Virginia Ashurian Kabalian and husband for 36 years of Lucy Aprahamian Kabalian. He had resided in Colonie all his life and was educated at Mt Pleasant High School.

Mr. Kabalian was a binder for the General Electric Company in Schenectady for 25 years, retiring in 1972. Many years ago, he was a self-employed farmer. Mr. Kabalian had a love for gardening, a passion for growing and nurturing. He had that same love and incredible pride for his family. The comfort of his family was his main objective in life.

He was a member of Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his son, Harry A. Kabalian (MaryBeth) of Clifton Park and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Harrison Kabalian. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Kabalian and two sisters, Florence and Rose Kabalian.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:30am from Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment Memory's Garden in Colonie.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Kabalian to Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church 101 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
