San Diego, CA - Gregg Lobdell, 37, died suddenly Sunday, May 02, 2010.

Born in Albany, he was son of Irving Lobdell and Denise Carroll Lobdell of Averill Park and beloved friend of Allison Haber Wren and daughter Ava of San Diego. He was raised in Averill Park and was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Clarkson University.

Skip was an engineer for U.S. Geological Survey in Poway, CA for the past 17 years.

He was a member of Beta Tau fraternity and enjoyed many hobbies including investing in art, playing drums, Phish, electronics and technology.

Survivors in addition to his parents and girlfriend include his sister, Lisa L. Martell of Long Beach, NY and numerous family and friends.

A celebration of his life gathering will be held May 15th at the Burden Lake County Club from 1-5pm.
