Grace Agnes Wood Williams, 91

Brunswick - Grace Agnes Wood Williams, 91, of Country Way Apartments Brunswick died Friday, December 25, 2009, at Van Rensselaer Manor North Greenbush after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late John Wood and Agnes McGill Wood and wife the late John V. Williams. She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Williams was a secretary for Hartford Insurance in Delmar for 20 years, retiring 40 years ago.

She was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Troy.

Survivors include two sons, Robert L. (Lisa) Williams of Somerville, SC and Douglas V. (Donna J.) Williams of Wynantskill; her grandchildren, Douglas (Jennifer) Williams, Darcy Williams, Derick F. Williams and Kimberly James; four great grandchildren, Madison and Emma Kancyr and Justin Hickey and Ryan James and a niece, Carol Cerwonka of Wynantskill, She was predeceased by four brothers, John, George, Edward and Joseph Wood and a sister, Marge Wood Hems.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7PM.

Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Grace Williams to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
