Gloria M. Harrington King , 78

West Sand Lake Gloria M. Harrington King , 78 , formerly of West Sand Lake, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Harold Harrington and Marion (Humphrey) Harrington and wife for 58 years on July 7, of Ronald W. King.

She had resided in West Sand Lake most of her life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Albany Business College.

Mrs. King was a homemaker and many years ago worked for Troy Belting Supply and Kelly Services.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Russell W. (Linda) King of West Sand Lake; a daughter, Ava Jean (David) Passino of Pinckney, MI;; a sister, Elizabeth Ramella of Stephentown; four grandchildren, Derick and Aimee King both of Albany, Kelly and Lindsay Passino both of Pinckney, MI and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Harrington Jr.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11am from the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake with Rev Dr Patricia A. Bush, Pastor, of the Salem United Methodist Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6-8pm. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, in West Sand Lake.
