Georgann F. Wilder, 56

Watervliet - Georgann F. Wilder, 56, of First Avenue died suddenly Friday, June 7, 2013, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after several years of failing health.

Originally from Poestenkill, she was predeceased by her parents Thomas E. Wilder and Eva 'Jean' (Doin) Wilder.

She was currently employed by the Samuel Stratton VA Hospital in Albany as a secretary in the occupational health department.

Georgann had many, many varied interests from casino gambling to making her incredible truffles.

For many of her younger years, Georgann was very involved in the Poestenkill Fire Company as recording secretary and vice president. She was a member of the Poestenkill ambulance squad and life member of the ladies auxiliary.

Georgann is survived by her sister, Jude (Jack) Wilder-Roberts of Joelton, TN; her nephews, Donald (Gerry) Numbers of MD and Darrin (Natalie) Numbers of TN.

She will also be missed by her great nieces and nephews, Kathy Numbers of Hossick Falls, Damian (Numbers) Fleming of Troy, Kaitlynn and Danielle Numbers of MD, Tristan, Naomi, Cedric and Adrienne Numbers of TN.

Special people in her life, were Katie and Danny Currier, Gavin Yetto and her best friend, Gail Currier.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Tuesday, from 4 - 7 PM .

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 10 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mt. Ida Cemetery Troy.
