Genevieve M. Koelmel Reinhardt, 89

Troy - Genevieve M. Koelmel Reinhardt, 89, of Excelsior Avenue died Tuesday, October 05, 2010, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late William Koelmel and Rose Sorensen Koelmel and wife of the late Paul William Reinhardt. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Reinhardt was a homemaker and she and her husband operated 'The Eldorado' on Fourth Street in Troy for many years retiring in 1982. Many years ago, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Montgomery Ward in Menands.

She was a member of the Eastside Seniors, the Germania Hall Association and a Cub Scout Den Leader, She enjoyed Bocce at the Italian Community Center in Troy and many years ago was a member of the golf league at Frear Park and area bowling leagues. She was a long time member of the former St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. John's Lutheran Church and later Faith Lutheran Church in Speigletown.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Thomas (Muff) Reinhardt of North Ferrisburg, VT and Robert Wm (Beverly) Reinhardt of Averill Park; her grandchildren, Sarah, Erica (Howarth), Paul and Trevor Reinhardt; a sister, Thelma L. (Howard) Jones of Clifton Park and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church 50 Leversee Road Troy with Rev. Stephen Cordes, Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
