North Greenbush - Florence A. Crayer Keeler, 81, of Dobert Court died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at St. Peter's Hospital Albany after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Alexander Crayer and wife of Charles E. Keeler Sr. She had resided in theTroy area all her life and was attended Troy schools.
Florence was a homemaker and worked in Central Market in Troy, P&C Market in Wynantskill and most recently at Pacamor Kubar Bearings in North Greenbush.
She was an accomplished organist, one of the original dispatchers of the North Greenbush Ambulance. Florence enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and arranging flowers.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Charles E. (Nancy) Keeler Jr., Burlington, VT; a daughter, Diane M. (Rudy Atencio) Keeler, Rio Rancho, NM; four grandchildren, Krystyna E. Oravec, Anna E., Alexander T. and Andrew J. Keeler; a great grandson, Johnathan Cordts and a niece, Debra L. Keeler-Dempsey, Cape Coral, FL.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9PM.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home and at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato Pastor.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery West Sand Lake.
