Florence A. (Hupe) Foley

Troy - Florence A. Hupe Foley, 80, formerly of Miller Avenue died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Springs Nursing Home  after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Albert Hupe and Mary  Powell Hupe and wife of the late William  Foley Jr.. She had resided on Miller Avenue in Troy for 40 years and later at ROUSE Apartments on Blooming Grove Drive . 

Mrs. Foley was employed in the cafeteria for ARA Food Services at the freshman hall at RPI for 10 years.  

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Mountainview Fire Company Auxiliary.                            
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne (James) Siebert, Cherry Plain and  Colleen (Jack) Thomas, Pittstown; two sons, Timothy Foley, Troy and William (Nancy) Foley, Troy; her grandchildren, Valerie (Ryan)  Myers, James Siebert Jr., Stephanie (Mark) Simmons, John (Paige)Thomas III, Meghan Thomas, Sean Thomas, Ashley Foley, William Foley Jr., Brianna, Alyssa and Kara Foley and Tori Burda; and two great granddaughters, Aubrey Myers and Jordyn Simmons.  She was predeceased by a brother, Albert (Butch) Hupe and a sister, Joan Brehm.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. 

Interment will be in  St. Jean's Cemetery Troy.
