Emma Clodius Clarke , 91

Troy Emma Clodius Clarke , 91 ,of Troy, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Born in NJ, she was the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Henry Clodius and wife of the late Richard Newton Clarke. Mrs. Clarke was the bursar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for a number of years.

Survivors include two sons, Richard L. Clarke (Angela) of Newport, OR and Robert A. Clarke (Holly) of Cropseyville; a daughter, Dr. Pauline Diestelhorst (Glen) of Palo Alto, CA and 9 grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in the spring at the Elmgrove Cemetery in Middle Granville.

Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Clarke to The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Boulevard Rensselaer, NY 12144.
