Betty hired me in 1971 as an audit clerk. I can not say enough of great things about Betty. I had no prior banking experience, I was out of the Marine Corps for 2 years and worked a few jobs. Betty said she would take a chance hiring me and in return I had to learn the banking, mortgage banking and financial business. Betty always encouraged new ideas. She said no question is ever wrong....I had tons of business questions. She was truly extremely smart and knowledgeable. When I moved on some 10 years later to take a position as Auditor of a bank, Betty was very happy and proud of me. I pray that when I get to Glory I’ll see my boss again. I’m blessed to have known Betty and Ray.
