Elizabeth C.A. Oliver Gilbert , 70

Wynantskill Elizabeth C.A. Oliver Gilbert , 70 ,of Edwards Road Wynantskill died Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William Oliver and Leona (Finley) Oliver and wife for 52 years of Clarence R. Gilbert.

She had resided in Troy and Poestenkill for many years and the past 28 years in Wynantskill and was educated at Troy schools.

Mrs. Gilbert was a homemaker.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Clarence 'C.R.' Gilbert (Mary Beth) of Henrietta, N.Y. and Laurence Gilbert (Justine) of Rochester; a daughter, Karen Beaulac of Cohoes; three sisters, Gloria Stenovich and Mary E. Burdick both of Poestenkill and Catherine Poole of CA; two brothers, William E. Oliver of Mesa, Ariz. and Archibald D. Oliver of Schenectady; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Pierce.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy with Rev. John Mcauley, Pastor of the Third Presbyterian Church in Troy, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, in Wynantskill.
