Troy - Edward Joseph Campbell III, 48,of North Lake Avenue, died suddenly Sunday, December 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, he was the son of Edward Joseph Campbell Jr. of Troy and the late Murine (Libby) Campbell and fiance of HollyJo May of Troy.

He had resided in the Troy area all his life and graduated Sacred Heart School in Troy and Catholic Central High School, class of 1977. He earned two Associate degrees from Hudson Valley Community Colleges in 1979 and 1984.

Mr. Campbell was an ultrasound technician for St. Mary's Hospital in Troy for the past 23 years.

He loved collecting coins and his dog 'Blizzard'.

Survivors in addition to his father and fiance include a brother, David Michael Campbell of Troy and many aunts, uncles and cousins

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8PM.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
