Edward W. Hull, Sr.

Wynantskill - Edward W. Hull, Sr., 71, of Brookside Avenue died Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Orange, NJ, he was son of the late Orville Dexter Hull and Jean Bullock Hull and husband for 48 years of Sharon E. Carroll Hull. He was born in Orange, NJ and resided in Poestenkill for many years and in Wynantskill for the past 15 years and was a graduate of Troy High School. 

Ed was a truck driver for Bonded Concrete Troy Sand and Gravel in West Sand Lake for 27 years, retiring in 1998 due to ill health.  

He enjoyed building street rods and hunting and was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War stationed in Vietnam.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Sherri (Christopher) Hull Lillis, Wynantskill; a son, Edward W. (Tricia) Hull, Jr., Troy; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn and Jenna Hull, Kristopher and Noah VanDenburgh and Jeffrey, Jared and Jake Lillis; two brothers, Douglas Hull, Pittstown and Keith (Betty) Hull, Poestenkill and several nieces and nephews.   He is also survived by a special friend, Joe Sprina, Wynantskill. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 4–7 PM with a funeral service at 7 PM with  Rev. James J. Vaughan, officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Edward W. Hull, Sr. to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
