I thank GOd for the love and joy Joe brought to my life. We were married in 2003 and live a wonderful life in Troy and Palos Verdes till our health declined. My thanks to Kitty, Kevin, Michael and all our family and friends.

I will never forget the goodness and kindness that Dr. Sullivan showed to my Mother as she aged. We all felt like family to his dental practice on Maple Avenue. My sincere condolences to Dr. Sullivan's family.

The Sullivan Family,
I'll always treasure my 32 years working with and for Dr. Sullivan. All those hours in dentistry, assisting and managing. Good times were aplenty. Especially those days after my weekly bowling nights. He constantly reminding the patient of that fact, as he firmly held the chisel and I lowered the mallet to crack and surgically remove the tooth. As surgery ended, I'd smile and say to him "that was no problem"; he'd retort to the patient, "if your black/blue tomorrow you've seen who used the mallet". And who could forget my walking thru your parents screen door at the house during a party for Brian Kennedy when he first joined the practice. So many good stories and fond memories. I always held dearly that your Mom & Dad included me in so many family functions. So to my close buddy and dear friend, I shall miss your presence, your smile, your barking out orders, and the memories and joy you gave to me. It was my proud privilege and delight just to have known you. "Thanks for everything".

My deepest sympathy to the Sullivan family. Joe always brought sunshine and kindness wherever he went and left everyone a happier person..
I saw him here and there after he retired. But as a child I went and sat in his chair for 2o years plus. Joe always had a a smile, a joke, a story to share.
He made everyone's world here a happier world.
As someone noted a ray of sunshine was ordered on July 17th. 2015.

Dear Kittie, Kevin, and Michael, I was so sorry to read of your Dad's passing. Your parents were always one of my favorite friends and neighbors. I am in Staten Island at Maria's. I am here most of the time due to my rheumatoid arthritis problems. Maria had her 7th baby in March. The children range from 20 years to 3 months! I'm sorry that I won't be in Troy to offer my condolences in person. I will be praying for Bette and Joe . My love to all of you and your families.
