Adrienne and I were colleagues at Russell Sage College for many years. Adrienne demanded high standards, high achievement, and high ethical standards. I respect her for that and trust she finds a place where she can continue to fight for what's right. Fondly, Stephen

I too was her student and subsequently became a professor of French myself. She supervised my student teaching while pregnant. Her French was so natural and flawless that one of her friends introduced her (all of this in French, of course) as follows: this is my friend who speaks French so beautifully... Adrienne, parlez! (like telling a dog to bark). She did the same thing to me once, introducing me as one of her proudest products, knowing I would remember this old story. A fine teacher and a fine person to have known. My husband, who became her colleague at Sage, joins in sending our condolences.

I was a French majorat Sage in the early 60's. Mme Rogers was a great, energetic teacher and I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

At peace dear friend. Larry and Eric ...It certainly has been a long road and I hope you both take happy memories and thoughts as you move on with you lives. Your Mom was a special woman and friend and I will miss her. We shared so much and her passing will leave an emptiness in my life. I shall always remember Adrienne with a smile.
