Dorothy Joyce Sagendorf, 90

Schodack - Dorothy Joyce Sagendorf, 90, of North Schodack Road died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Evergreen Commons East Greenbush after a long illness.

Born in England, she was daughter of the late Albert John Middleton and Annie V. Brinkworth Middleton and wife of the late Kenneth Sagendorf. She moved from England to Alberta, Canada at the age of 2 and later resided in West Sand Lake and East Greenbush.

Mrs. Sagendorf was a homemaker. She loved to bowl, vacation at the coast, and the home bureau.

Survivors include two sisters, Sylvia Chamberlin, Delanson and Betty Athan, Colonie; two brothers, Douglas A. Middleton, Nobleton, FL and Gordon Middleton, East Greenbush and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joanne Sagendorf; a sister, Eileen Vega and a brother, Harold V. Middleton.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Friday from 10 to 11am prior to the service at 11am with Rev. Amber Malone, Pastor of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Schodack, officiating.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery West Sand Lake.
