Doris Marie Devereaux Gundrum, 82

Averill Park - Doris Marie Devereaux Gundrum, 82, of Burden Lake Road died suddenly Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Percy Devereaux and Edna Wagar Devereaux and wife of the late Ralph Gundrum. She had resided in the Sand Lake and Burden Lake area all her life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Mrs. Gundrum was a drug inspector for Sterling Winthrop in Rensselaer for over 20 years, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of the Church of the Covenant in Averill Park and loved to travel.

Survivors include three step daughters, Patricia A. (Gary) Allard, Averill Park, Carol A. (George) Bradt, Rensselaer and Joan E. (Jay) Hoenig, Saratoga; her grandchildren, Gary J. and Steven Allard, Carol Jean LaMountain, Keith Bradt, Maria Mitchell and Laura Hoenig; her great grandchildren, Kirstie, Gregory, Londyn, Karissa and Lisa and two great great grandsons, Trevor and Tyler.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Friday from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Merry Watters, officiating.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery East Schodack.
