Donna Dustin Schiesser

Poestenkill - Donna Dustin Schiesser, of Plank Road went home to her Lord, Sunday May 4, 2008. Donna was daughter of Donald H. Dustin and the late Hester (Patterson) Dustin; beloved wife of Lloyd Schiesser and mother of S Sgt Mark Schiesser of Watervliet.

She is also survived by her sister, Alice (Ronald) Castagnier of Poestenkill and her brother, Rev. Allen (Carol) Dustin of Poestenkill.

She was a graduate of Averill Park High School, was a homemaker and worked for several years at NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Donna was a member of the Community Church of Grafton.

She loved the coast of Maine, lighthouses, covered bridges, cross stitching, baking, reading and puzzles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services which will be held Saturday May 10, 2008 at 1pm at the Community Church of Grafton, 995 Blue Factory Road, Cropseyville with Rev. Allen Dustin, Pastor and Donna's brother, officiating.

A private interment will be held at Brookside Cemetery in Poestenkill.

The family thanks Dr. John Ferraro and staff of NYOH and St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care.

Contributions may be made in memory of Donna to the Poestenkill Ambulance PO Box 93 Poestenkill, NY 12140, because the volunteers were always there when needed.
