Donald T. Monahan

Donald T. Monahan, 70 Troy Donald T. Monahan, 70, of Heritage House Nursing Center, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy after a long illness. Born in Troy, he was son of the late Joseph W. and Mary F. Brown Monahan and husband of the late Dawn Snyder Monahan. He had resided in Troy all his life and attended Troy High School. Mr. Monahan was a lineman and material handler for Niagara Mohawk for 36 years, retiring in 1989. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy. Survivors include two daughters Shawn Monahan of Cohoes and Ellen Monahan of Charlotte, NC; a brother Joseph W. Monahan Jr. of Troy; two sisters Anne Reinisch of Chandler, AZ and M. Eileen Christopher of Clifton Park and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers John and Edward Monahan. Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy. Contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Monahan to the charity of ones choice.
