Donald C. Flemming, 67

Frederick, MD Donald C. Flemming, 67, of Frederick and formerly of Rhinebeck, NY , died Monday, April 22, 2003, at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Frederick.

Born May 10, 1935, in Gasport, NY he was son of the late Elmer and Blanche VanBuren Flemming and husband of Barbara Jackson Flemming, of the home.

A retired electrical engineer with IBM, Donald served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and obtained the rank of Captain.

He was a founding member of the Rhinebeck Lions Club, the Studebaker Car Club and the Republican Committee in Clinton, NY.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Donald J. Flemming and wife Sheri of Frederick, Jeffrey J. Flemming and wife Lee of West Islip and Kevin J. Flemming and wife Jill of Woburn, MA; a brother, Roy E. Flemming of Trumansburg, NY; a sister, Joyce Baylis of Lockport, NY; seven grandchildren, Timothy, Michael, Erin, Bevin, Caitlin, Christopher and Kathleen Flemming and special friends, Nancy, Jim and Lucienne Kennedy and Thomas and Vivian Jackson. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Pastuch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service which will be held Saturday at 12 noon at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands with Rev. James E. Clark, Pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Church, officiating.

Services in Maryland will include visiting hours at the Stauffer Funeral Home Frederick , MD Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11:00am at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church.
