Dolores M. Horton Maloy, 72

Troy Dolores M. Horton Maloy, 72, of Gurley Avenue, died peacefully Thursday at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wynantskill, she was daughter of the late Hubert and Annette Delamater Horton and wife, for over 50 years, of Joseph Coleman Maloy Sr. She was born, raised and resided for 17 years in Wynantskill and the remainder of her life resided in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1949.

Mrs. Maloy was a waitress at Friendly's Restaurant in Troy for 25 years and many years ago worked as a bookkeeper for W. T. Grants in Troy.

She spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children Joseph C. Maloy Jr. (Jo-Ann) of Delmar, Kim M. McInerney of Troy, Coleen Sadekoski (Rick) of Guilderland, Tom Maloy (Diana) of Wynantskill, Lisa A. Fredette (Art) of Altamont and Mark W. Maloy (Suzanne) of Troy; her grandchildren Jennifer, Erin, Amy, Elizabeth, Tommy, Lauren, Jenna, Mark, Liam and Cullen Maloy, Ryan Bartlett, Scott and Dylan Fredette and Tracy and Kevin Sadekoski; her great-grandchildren Isabella Grace and Kevis Grant and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Joshua Bartlett and two sisters Loraine Milanese and Lois Brown; a brother William Horton and her father and mother-in-law Edward T. Maloy Sr. and Hattie Mae Maloy.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00AM from St. Patrick's Church 3027 Sixth Avenue Troy where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 10-11am prior to the Mass. Interment Holy Sepluchre Cemetery in Troy.
