Darwin B. Miller, 65

Troy Darwin B. Miller, 65, of Sixth Avenue, died Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Dexter M. Miller Sr. and Frances Graham Miller and husband for the past 17 years of Ann King Miller. He was raised on a farm in the Berlin area and resided most of his life in Troy.

Mr. Miller was employed as a dental lab technician for WJ Salmon Dental Lab in Troy for 50 years retiring this past year and worked at the Colonie Country Club in Voorheesville.

He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Tammie F. Sedgwick (Thomas) of Averill Park; five sons, Jeffrey E. Miller (Kathleen) of Stillwater, Stephen M. Miller of Fort Plains, Michael J. Sowalsky (Wanda) of Troy, Matthew J. Sowalsky of Troy and Mark W. Sowalsky of Rexford; a brother, Dwight G. Miller of Nassau; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Dexter M. Miller Jr.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 6:00pm from Millis Memorial Baptist Church 612 Fourth Avenue Lansingburgh with Pastor Edward Upton, Interim Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the church Sunday from 2-6pm prior to the service.

Contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Miller to the American Liver Foundation 75 Buckland Avenue Rochester, NY 14618.
