Concetta M. Farano

Troy - Concetta M. Farano, 86, of Alder Avenue  died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at  her residence.

Born in Troy , she was daughter of the late Pasquale Farano and Maria  Farano and sister of the late Dr. Rocco A. Farano and Hon. Dan G. Farano.

Concetta  was a life long resident of Troy and graduated from Troy Schools. A communicant of St. Anthony's Church, she was a social worker the New York State Department of Social Services, a member of the Albany Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and, also, a volunteer at Albany Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her brother, Patrick A. Farano, Petersburg, NY; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 6, 2017 at10AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 28 State Street in Troy with her cousin, Rev. Michael Farano, officiating.

Interment will be in  St. Mary’s Cemetery .

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Concetta Farano to the Farano Center for Children, 25 North Main Ave, Albany, NY 12208 .
