Christopher Leo Chamberlain, Sr.

Cohoes - Christopher Leo Chamberlain Sr, 47, of Bridge Avenue died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Albany, he was son of Leo Chamberlain and Helen Karens Chamberlain of Averill Park and longtime companion of Becky Lee. He was a graduate of LaSalle Institute and State University of New York Ulster County Community College. 

Christopher was a shift supervisor and mill hand for Hydro Aluminum in Ellenville, NY. 

He was an avid reader, a real bookworm, a firefighter in Ellenville, NY and a veteran of the US Army.  

Survivors in addition to his parents include two sons, Christopher Chamberlain Jr., Averill Park and Matthew Chamberlain, Averill Park; a step daughter, Regina Du Pont, Troy; a step grandson, Tobias Du Pont, Troy and a sister, Mary Buell. 

A memorial service will held at the convenience of the family.
