Averill Park Charles Lewis Grimm , 64 ,of Box 17 Cropseyville died Monday, November 22, 2004 of a cardiac arrest.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Andrew Grimm and Viola (Prout) Grimm.

He had resided in the Averill Park area most of his life and attended Troy High School.

Charlie was the proprietor and operator of Sunshine Dairy for the past 35 years.

He was a member of Farmers Agricultural and an avid car race fan and was a happy-go-lucky guy, always with a smile.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Richard Grimm (Lisa Barna) of Averill Park and Daniel Richard Grimm (Colleen)of Brunswick; two brothers John Breen (Angie) of NJ and Andrew Grimm of Cropseyville; a sister, Leni Lynd (Leonard) of Wynantskill; six grandchildren, Bryan, Adam and Danielle Grimm and Nicole, Jason and Jaclyn Barna; a great grandchild, Tatiana Damiano and several nieces and a nephew.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. David Martin, Pastor of the Hope United Methodist Church in Eagle Mills, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment Brookside Cemetery in Brunswick.

Contributions may be made in memory of Charlie Grimm to the Capital City Rescue Mission 259 South Pearl Street Albany, NY or the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society Oakland Avenue Menands, NY.
