Catherine 'Bette' Sullivan

Catherine E. 'Bette' Sullivan, 75 Brunswick Catherine E. 'Bette' Sullivan, 75, of Fox Hollow Road, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy, after a long illness. Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Frank J. and Kitty Sheedy Weber and wife of Dr. Joseph M. Sullivan. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Sullivan was credit manager at the Peerless Company in Troy many years ago. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society, the Van Rensselaer Garden Club, St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary and the Country Club of Troy. She was an avid bridge and tennis player and enjoyed skiing. Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter Catherine E. 'Kittie' Ryan and husband Michael T. of Bluebell, PA; two sons Kevin J. Sullivan of Latham and Michael J. Sullivan and wife Sharon of Friendswood, TX; a sister Jean W. Lindsay of Palo Verdes, CA and seven grandchildren William Vincent Ryan, Caitlin S. Ryan, Brienne S. Ryan, Joseph Michael Sullivan and Christopher, Jessica and Shelley Rudy. She was predeceased by a sister Ann Marie O'Brien. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy and at 9:30am from Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Sullivan to the Sacred Heart Church 310 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180 or the La Salle Institute Development Fund 174 Williams Road Troy, NY 12180.
