Carolyn A. DeCelle, 71

North Greenbush - Carolyn A.Gillick DeCelle, 71, of East Avenue died peacefully Saturday, August 27, 2011, at her residence.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late John J. Gillick and Marion McKnight Gillick and wife for 50 years of the late John J. DeCelle, who passed away in May of 2010.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and known by her granddaughters as 'MA'.

She is survived by her children Michael DeCelle, Wynantskill, and Kathleen DeCelle, Poestenkill; her sister Joan Maher, Troy; her three granddaughters Amanda V. and Kayla B. DeCelle and Sonya Halse whom she adored more than words could express; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Sonny and Thomas and her sisters, Grace and Marion.

Funeral service will be private.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
