Caroline F. Loesch McNeil, 89

Cohoes Caroline F. Loesch McNeil, 89, of West Columbia Street and formerly of Troy, died Monday at Eddy-Ford Nursing Home Cohoes.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was daughter of the late William F. and Charlotte S. Jardella Loesch and wife of the late Frank W. McNeil who died in February. She had resided most of her life in Troy many years on Spring Avenue Road. She was a graduate of Troy High School and also took many banking courses.

Mrs. McNeil was employed at Marine Midland Bank for 25 years retiring as assistant manager in Brunswick in 1977.

She was a member of the Troy Women's Club, Ilium Literary Club, the former Altrusa Club, RPI Faculty Women's Club and the First United Presbyterian Church of Troy where she was a Trustee and a member of the Women's Association of the church. She with her husband were co-financial secretaries of the church.

Survivors include a son William D. McNeil and wife Peg of Westchester, OH; a daughter Karol L. Vogl and husband Glenn of CT; a sister Harriett S. Williams of Kissimmee, FL; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy with Rev. Alexandra Lusak, Pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church of Troy, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
