Carol A. Wicks Sheeran, 60

Wynantskill- Carol A. Wicks Sheeran, 60, of Woodside Court, died Thursday, May 25, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Emma (Williams) Wicks of West Sand Lake and the late Carl E. Wicks and wife of the late William V. Sheeran Sr.

She had resided in Wynantskill for several years and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Carol was a homemaker, babysitter and for the past 13 years she was happily employed at Walmart.

She was an Auxiliary member of the Wynantskill Fire Company and a member of Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a bingo fanatic and loved following the New York Giants.

Survivors in addition to her mother include two sons, William V. Sheeran Jr. and Robert M. Sheeran both of Wynantskill; brothers and sisters, Steven E. Wicks (Carole), Donna Coonrad (Ken), Craig A. Wicks, Sharon Urbanowicz (Jeff), Ed Wicks (Linda) and Frank Wicks (Beth) and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church Shaver Road West Sand Lake with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH Saturday from 4- 8 PM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery in West Sand Lake.
