Carmela Feleppa Ramahlo, 87

Wynantskill - Carmela Feleppa Ramahlo, 87, formerly of Hidley Extension in Wynantskill, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Raphael Feleppa and Stella (Altieri) Feleppa and wife of the late John F. Ramahlo.

She was raised in Brooklyn and resided in Long Island, California, and since the early 1980's in Wynantskill, and was educated in Brooklyn schools.

Mrs. Ramahlo was a sales clerk for K-Mart in Latham for several years, many years ago.

She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Maria C. Ramahlo of Bronx; three grandsons, John Ramahlo Jr. of New York City, Joseph Ramahlo (Marianne) of Port Jefferson, NY and Justin Ramahlo of Utah; a great grandson, Gabriel Ramahlo; a nephew, Nunzio Feleppa and a niece, Stella Rosenkrantz. She was predeceased by her son, John Ramahlo Sr. , her daughter-in-law, Pamela Blanchet Ramahlo and a brother, Raphael Feleppa.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Salvatore Rodino, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3-7 PM.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
