Betty E. Colwill Weiss, 71

Troy - Betty E. Colwill Weiss, 71 of Troy, New York, born May 11, 1942 and entered into eternal peace on November 29, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. She was daughter of the late John M. Colwill and Mary L. Colwill of Troy, NY.

After graduating from Troy High School, Betty was employed as a Secretary at Patterson, Smith, and Robert Law office, also worked as a private Secretary at Tek Hughes and Union Fern Furniture. She later became Manager and Secretary to Weiss Financial Planning Consulting Business.

Betty is survived by her sisters Shirley Fluewelling (the late James Sr.) Beverly Stockwell (the late Harry), Carol Harrington (Robert), Linda Kordana (Chester), and brothers John M. Colwill, (Irene) Edwin R. Colwill (Judy) and several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by a brother, Charles W.H. Colwill and sister-in-law, Joyce.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy Tuesday from 11AM-1PM with prayers will be offered by Father Peter Tkocz, pastor of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Cohoes, NY at 1PM.

Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
