Schenectady Audrey T. White Bloomingdale , 76 ,of Schenectady and formerly of Troy died Saturday, May 15, 2004 at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. White and Mildred Stewart White and wife of the late Frederick W. Bloomingdale Jr.

She had resided in Troy most of her life and at the Avenue Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Schenectady most recently.

Mrs. Bloomingdale was a clerk at the New York State Senate document room for 20 years, retiring 4 years ago.

An avid bowler, she was a member of the Women's International Bowling Association, for over 40 years was a Veteran's volunteer for the American Bowling Conference and a member of The Turtles bowling organization. Mrs. Bloomingdale also appeared on TV Tournament Time, and played volleyball at the Wynantskill Elementary School for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Troy and St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill.

Survivors include a son, James Bloomingdale of Maplewood; a daughter, Lynn Nelson (Robert) of Schenectady; a brother, Edward Stewart White of California; four grandchildren, Christopher Nelson, Courtney and Matthew Bloomingdale and Daniel Nelson and a niece, Karen Rapp and a nephew, William Crowley. She was predeceased by a sister, Lucille T. Crowley; a brother, John T. White and a nephew John Crowley.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9am from the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30am from from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, in Troy.

Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Bloomingdale to the American Diabetes Association 7 Washington Square Albany, NY 12205.
