Arthur E. Forman, USAF retired, 72

Fruitland Park, FL - Arthur E. Forman, USAF retired, 72, of Lake Griffin Drive Fruitland Park died Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Village Hospice House The Villages, FL after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Edwin Forman and Myrtle Pollack Forman and husband for 50 years of Barbara Barry Forman. He had resided in Fruitland Park, Florida for the past 5 years, in Eagle Mills for many years and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mr. Forman was an electronics technician at Hudson Valley Community College from 1975-94. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He served during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1975.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Dale (Gail) Forman of Boston and Dean Forman of Cohoes; his daughters, Diane and Dawn Forman both of Carpinteria, CA; a brother, Earl Forman of Torrance, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Tilley and Helen Henry.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville with Rev. C. Joseph Ingraham, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-6 PM.
