Anne T. Hourigan Dorfner, 88

Troy - Anne T. Hourigan Dorfner, 88, of Beechwood Apartments Burdett Avenue died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late James Hourigan and Eleanor (Hannon) Hourigan and wife of the late Walter L. Dorfner who died in September.

She was raised in Troy, resided in East Greenbush for 43 years and at Beechwood since 2003. She was a graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Dorfner was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Gretchen (Matthew) Frank of Woodside, CA; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Walter James Dorfner ; three brothers, James, George and William Hourigan and a sister, Helen Crowley.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
