Anna Mary Curtis, 79

West Sand Lake - Anna Mary Curtis, 79, of Brookside Way died Monday, July 11, 2011, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Averill Park, she was daughter of the late John James Teal Jr. and Kathryn KolodichTeal and wife of the late Richard Roberts and Ralph Curtis. She had resided in the Averill Park area all her life and was a graduate of Averill Park Schools and Mildred Elley in Albany.

Mrs. Curtis was retired from the payroll department of Curtains and Fabric in Latham Farms, and prior to that worked for Capital District Heating and Supply, the Troy Record and Teresian House.

She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in East Schodack, the church choir and loved to cook.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Roberts, Watervliet; a daughter, Carolyn Gould, Watervliet; three sisters, Margaret (Eugene) Eksuzian, Pittsfield, Laura (William) Sturm, Nassau and Sally (Richard) Ewald, TN; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Foley and a brother, John J. Teal III.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Friday from 5-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Cordes , officiating.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery East Schodack.
