Althea M. Wilcox Anderson, 83

Snyders Corners - Althea M. Wilcox Anderson, 83, of Dennis Road died Sunday May 11, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Wilcox and wife of the late Francis O. 'Red' Anderson.

She had resided in Snyders Corners for the past 54 years and attended Troy Schools. She was a homemaker and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Thomas J Anderson of Wynantskill, Catherine Anderson of Snyders Corners, Diane Anderson of Snyders Corners, Timothy P (Marcellia) Anderson of Snyders Corners, Frank E (Laura) Anderson of Brunswick, Robin (David) Zimmerman of Averill Park, Sharon (Tom) Banker of Snyders Corners and Patricia (Gary) Goodermote of Stephentown; a sister, Agnes Burdick of Mechanicville; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rosemary Gervais.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 AM at St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 in Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Tuesday from 5-8PM

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
