Alice Helene Corbin Fitzgerald, 74

Grafton - Alice Helene Corbin Fitzgerald, 74,of Dumbleton Road, died suddenly Friday, March 9, 2007 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Percil Corbin and Mary (Smith) Corbin and wife of the late John E. Fitzgerald.

She was raised in Grafton, resided several years in Troy and lived her adult life in Grafton and was educated at Troy High School class of 1950 and Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga, TN.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was a payroll manager for Montgomery Ward in Menands for many years and later for Combined Life Insurance Company in Albany retiring in 1996.

For many years she worked on extensive family genealogy research. She also enjoyed her time playing video games with her grandchildren and time spent at the Grafton Senior Center.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Eric Fitzgerald and wife Lourae of Wynantskill; her daughter, Jennifer Ellen Pratt and husband Phillip Francis Pratt Jr. of Hales Corners, WI; two sisters, Lurana Parker of Johnsonville, NY and Mary Catherine O'Dell of Grafton; a brother, Paul Corbin of Hoosick; five grandchildren, Phillip Francis Pratt III, Jacob Alexander Pratt, Benjamin John Pratt, Jessica Erin Fitzgerald and Jacquelyn Emily Fitzgerald and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy Sunday from 4-7 PM.

Friends may call at the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill Church Street and Main Avenue Wynantskill on Monday from 10-11am with the funeral service Monday at 11:00 AM at the CHURCH with Rev. Kerri Weldon, officiating. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Fitzgerald to the Grafton Rescue Squad Town Hall PO Box G Grafton, NY 12082.
