Albert Harold Adams, 90

Troy - Albert Harold Adams, 90, of Harris Road died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late John E. Adams, Sr. and Nora Tighe Adams and husband of the late Grace M. Traeger Adams, who died in October of 2010. He had resided in Troy all his life and was educated in Troy Schools.

Mr. Adams was employed in the Public Works Department for the City of Troy and worked as service manager for Knowles Pontiac in Troy many years ago. He was an Army veteran serving in the Aleutian Islands during WWII.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Attmore, Loudonville and Gail (Reginald) Tedesco, Niskayuna; two sons, Robert Harold Adams, MA and Harold Edwards Adams, Saratoga; a sister, Annette Kirch, Newtonville;a brother, George Adams, Colonie and several grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, John E. Adams, Jr. and Norman and Fredrick Adams; a sister, Marie Adams and a step brother, Donald Warn.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-7pm.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10am at the Transfiguration Parish in Speigletown where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. George Fleming, Pastor.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum Troy.
