Agnes M. (Raymond) Wiley

North Greenbush - Agnes M. Raymond Wiley, 91, of Glenmore Road died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was daughter of the late Harry J. Raymond and Pearl M. Lamphere Raymond and wife of the late Irving J.  Wiley. She was raised in Grafton and had resided in North Greenbush for the past 70 years. Agnes was a graduate of Berlin High School and Albany Business College. 

Agnes as a girl worked as a machine operator for Cluett, Peabody & Company and later was a key punch operator for Denby’s Department Store.  She, for 27 years, was a secretary for Rensselaer County Civil Defense, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of the Grafton Baptist Church, Wynantskill Seniors, and the Ladies Home Bureau.  Agnes was a dedicated mother and loved spending time and going on trips with her family. 

Survivors include her devoted son,  Richard I. (Geraldine) Wiley, Eagle Mills; a son-in-law, John Kehrer, Rochester; her brother, Donald (Doris) Raymond, NH; six grandchildren, Bryan (Leslie) Wiley, Sean (Dorothy) Wiley, Shane Wiley, and Stacy, Scott and Sheri Kehrer; five great grandchildren Christian, Evan and Bryan Wiley and Shawn and Drew Morabito and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Kehrer.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Friday, at 11 AM at the  funeral home with Rev. Jason White , Pastor of the Grafton Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in  Hudson View Cemetery Mechanicville.
