Fairhaven, MA - William W. Seifert, 93, Born Feb. 22,1920 Troy, NY, died peacefully, April 25, 2013, at Our Lady's Haven in Fairhaven, MA. Formerly a long time resident of Wellesley Hills, MA. Survived by daughters: Linda S. Kenney of Fairhaven, MA and Janet E. Seifert of Revere, MA and Sons: Charles W. Seifert of Glenrock, NJ and Robert P. Seifert of Wolfeboro, NH. Grandsons: James S. Kenney of Wareham, MA, Alexander T. Kenney of Fairhaven, MA. John S. Seifert of Jackson, NJ and Timothy W. Seifert of Norwood, MA. Granddaughters: Lee Ann Nimkoff of Winter Park, FL., Carolyn G. Herrera of Burke, VA, Christine K. Pires of Fairhaven, MA, Kaitlin S. Sriwardena of Jackson, NJ and 15 Great Grandchildren. Brother of Margaret S. Slack of Penfield, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Harry H, Seifert and Mother, Alice T. Seifert, wife: Sylvia Campbell Seifert and wife Doris Patterson Seifert.

Dr. Seifert graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, received his Masters and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Former Assistant Dean of Engineering in charge of Graduate Research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, President of Institute Guilfoyle in Belmont, MA. Dr. Seifert has many patents and is the author of many scientific books. Member of IEEE. He attended the Wellesley Unitarian Church.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday from 5-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Roberta Place, officiating.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
