William T. 'Wild Bill' Foley Jr., 71

Brunswick William T. 'Wild Bill' Foley Jr., 71, of Miller Avenue, at peace with God Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush after a long courageous battle with Parkinson Disease.

Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late William Foley Sr. and Edna (Sollohub) Foley and beloved husband for 47 years of Florence A. Hupe Foley.

Bill was employed at Bendix (Allied Signal) in Green Island for 25 years, retiring in 1984.

He was a lifetime member of the Mt. View Fire Company, and a member of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks #1500, the American Legion Post 1489 Wynantskill, the Ancient Order of the Hibernians Troy, a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and was a Navy veteran of Korean War. His lifetime passions included bowling and darts.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Dianne Siebert (James) of Cherry Plain and Colleen Thomas (Jack) of Pittstown; two sons, Timothy Foley (Ericka) of Schenectady and William Foley (Nancy) of East Greenbush and a brother, Thomas Foley of Watervliet. Bill was 'Poppy' to his 14 loving grandchildren, Valerie, James, Stephanie, John, Meghan, Sean, Ashley, William, Brianna, Alyssa, Alexa, Lauren, Kara and Tori.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue and at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gary Mercure, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home SATURDAY, PRIOR TO THE SERVICE from 9-11 AM. Interment St. Jean's Cemetery in Troy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bill Foley to Evergreen Commons 1070 Luther Road East Greenbush, NY 12061.
