To my favorite aunt. I'm so sorry. Uncle Bill was a very good man. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather, and a wonderful uncle. I always looked forward to seeing you and him when we would make trips to NY or you would come to visit. He always had a smile on his face and good things to say. I coudn't help but be happy around him. I'll remember all the good times where he made such a positive impact on me . . . from when I got to be a ring bearer at your wedding, to the annual visits to Grandma's, to the cookouts and dinners at your place and Aunt Shirley's and Uncle Dons, the trips to the amusement parks, the times he took me fishing, riding in the "Graaan Torino," your visit to Tucson, and all the rest. He is gone way to soon, and I will miss him dearly. I'm sorry I did not get to spend more time with him. I'm proud to have known him. I wish you all the best. Love, Scott

Bill and I served together as Lieutenants with the 1 Battalion, 210th Armor. I always considered him a friend and a fine soldier. We spent many a day and night on the Tank Ranges at Fort Drum, N.Y., either freezing or boiling depending on what time of year it was. Bill’s pleasant disposition and friendly smile was always a welcoming change to our drab surroundings. Bill was a proud father, a fine husband, and a great Soldier. Behind every great Soldier is a great Family, thank you for sharing Bill with us.
May you find comfort in your memories and in the warm sympathy that goes out to you today.
God Bless,
Brigadier General Daniel Bradt, NYSRL

My sincerest condolences to Bill's family. I worked with Bill at DOH when he was with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct. Bill was always pleasant, always had a smile and usually there would be his laugh, and he was great to work with.

Ken and I have so many fond memories of camping together at Sunset Bay. Bill was so kind to our grandson, Chad, who had some health issues. We remained in touch and gave each other our prayerful support over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family at this difficult time.
