Wayne R. Taylor, 60

Stephentown - Wayne R. Taylor, 60, of Greenman Hill Road died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of Elizabeth Malik deJong of East Greenbush and the late Leroy O. Taylor and former husband of Carol. He had resided in East Greenbush most of his life.

Wayne was a long time truck driver for Ruch Distributors, Zunek's Nursery and currently Northern Nursery in Colonie.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union and the Best Luther Fire Company.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his siblings, Linda Henchey, Averill Park, his caregiver Nancy L. (Ruby)Taylor, Troy, David A. Taylor, Troy, Lance A. (Donna)Taylor, Averill Park, James R. Taylor, Averill Park and Ellen E. Taylor, Troy; his uncle and aunt, Charles and Bunny Ayotte, Averill Park and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his longtime canine friend, Jack.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 1-3 PM.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery West Sand Lake.
